Mike spoke at Wild Branch 3/2/13, on the topic of Godly wisdom vs worldly wisdom. I think I’m still unpacking it. God has often brought my attention to Proverbs 1:7 “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” Worldly wisdom is grounded in knowledge, but we really don’t have perspective to interpret our knowledge. So as with most things in a relationship-based Christianity, it all returns to our willingness to walk in intimacy with God.

NEW Monthly Discipleship!

Your WB family invites you to something new--a once--month time to get together during the week to focus, together, on some great "God Stuff"!

 

We're planning on meeting for an hour or so the first Wednesday of each month at our worship center in Battle Ground (Galeotti's Wine Cellar). This first time, this coming Wednesday February 5, is focused on prayer--"Practicing the Power of Prayer!"

 

We will share some of our perspectives on what prayer has meant in our lives, discuss different types of prayer, and then we will go beyond the discussions, and actually PRAY – for one another, for the body of Christ at large, and even for our community and nation.

 

The invitation is open to anyone who wants to focus on the Goodness of God--together!
