I blinked and the leaves were turning... falling... and winter was upon us. I love the winter time!

All the layers of clothing, boots & scarfs.  And the crispness in the cool air.  Ah and the smell of pine wood burning in the wood stove.

As I'm reminiscing in the moment, I sense the closeness of God's presence with me.  The beauty of His grace and love over me, in me and surrounding me.  What love the king has for his daughter. The beauty in His heart toward me surpasses anything I've ever known.

Young love, like the love for a bride.  Unwavering, focused, dense and deep.

The precious heart of God.  A heart that no one can stand against or change.

Who promises himself to us.  To never leave us, to always be with us through whatever circumstance we find ourselves in.

Trust, deep trust.  That's what He's asking for.

So when we find ourselves in that unexpected predicament, we choose to follow Him, lean on Him.

Trusting in Him and not hoping for a way out.  Finding that place where it's all about Him and all that matters is that He is there with us.

Reliable, trustworthy, dependable, loyal... here with me.

In it, through it and on our way out of it until the next journey.  We get to repeat it all with Him by our side again and again as He draws us closer to Him each time.  What a heart He has for us.  Broken for us, poured out for us.  His love ever stable in this incredible plan He has laid out called our lives.

You know His whisper, you've felt His touch.  Believe until you know.  Trust with abandon... He's here.

We have a few weeks of cozy, relaxing beautiful winter days before the crocus start to weave their way up with spring soon to follow. Enjoy your winter... Let Him love you!
